Our Olympic Lifting 101 clinic is a great foundations course for beginners (especially CrossFitters) to get introduced to the Olympic weightlifting movements (Snatch and Clean & Jerk). This clinic is issued in 8 - 1.5 hour sessions in a small group setting (less than 10 people in a group).
We require this clinic for all beginners for our Olympic Weightlifting Group Classes it can also benefit our CrossFit members, as the weightlifting movements are absolutely fundamental. Even for CrossFit, where over 70% of workouts involve an Olympic weightlifting movement. Thus, learning proper technique from the start is essential to making consistent progress and keeping safe and healthy.
Weight lifting can be as important to your overall health as aerobic exercise -- and it’s not just for men. Lifting weights can help women build a toned, sculpted, feminine body, and build stronger bones. Plus it can boost your metabolism, making you not only look great but feel great, too.
