About Me

I’ve lost 80 pounds and kept it off for 21 years! While losing my weight I realized the importance of exercise for shedding pounds, but also for good health. Over the years I’ve transitioned from a workout phobic to a workout addict!  I share my love of fitness with my 2 teenage daughters and supportive husband.  We make fitness a family lifestyle and you'll usually see one of us, or all of us, at the gym!

Philosophy on Exercise and Well-Being

 I’ve done everything from Zumba to boot camp but have developed a lasting love affair with CrossFit. CrossFit has shown me what it really means to never give up. With each WOD comes a unique challenge that pushes my limits just a little further and with that comes great results! I’ve never been stronger, faster, or more athletic in my life and I have FGFIT to thank for that. I’m actually just a regular person trying to constantly improve herself. As I learn things along my journey I feel the need to share those lessons with anyone who wants to hear to them. I want to help everyone achieve their personal goals and to remind them that, while it may be a struggle, it is our responsibility to take care of ourselves and to do it with a smile on our face.
